Now to summer 2009...

We are grateful to everyone who has contributed to the consultation. This local knowledge of the area will help us to develop the best scheme.

Later this year, a ‘preferred scheme’ will be presented to local government for approval. We will then apply to central government for initial funding approval (‘programme entry’).

2010...

If approved, we will move on to detailed design and consult with the public again on the detailed plans.

2011-2014...

If all these processes are successful, we hope to be on site for construction in 2011, and complete in 2014.
