The Ecclesall Road Smart Route

Sheffield City Council and South Passenger Transport Executive are working in partnership to improve travel along Ecclesall Road.

Everyone who travels in and around Sheffield will know that Ecclesall Road is often very busy, with congestion and delays common for all road users.

The Smart Route Project also includes improvements to the bus route along Greystones Road, High Storrs Road, Ringinglow Road and the Bents Green area.

This website provides you with:

• Information about the background of the Smart Route.

• Improvements that have been completed.

• Information about our proposed improvements.

The intention is that all works are to be completed by Spring 2014.
