How will you make sure more traffic and congestion doesn’t build up elsewhere?

We will make sure traffic flows along other roads are not made worse by undertaking extensive traffic modelling of any proposed improvements. This will allow us to make sure our improvements do not just improve traffic flows along the A630 only to cause problems elsewhere.

How will you make sure all road users are considered?

We are carrying out thorough public consultation to make sure we consider the views of all members of the public, whether you travel along the corridor by foot, bike, bus or by car. We aim to improve the corridor for everyone who uses the route or lives in the local area. You can have your say on this website by going to the Have Your Say page.

How will you make sure there isn’t too much disruption while the work is being carried out?

We will co-ordinate all work programmes to make sure the improvements are phased appropriately, which will minimise disruption for all road users along the corridor. We will also co-ordinate with other improvement work in the area to minimise disruption.
