Consultation Feedback

Improvements have been made along the A630In 2009, a public consultation took place that asked local residents and businesses along the A630 for their views about what else should be improved along the A630. This consultation was part of making the A630 between Rotherham and Thrybergh a Smart Route. A Smart Route is designed to reduce delays and congestion through improving junctions, traffic signal timings and bus priority measures.

Over 85% of you agreed with the idea of introducing a Smart Route along the A630. Over three quarters of you suggested that improvements should be made to Mushroom Roundabout, and half of you suggested installing traffic lights on the roundabout.

Based on your important feedback we have developed improvements along the route at key locations. The first location identified for improvement is Mushroom Roundabout.
