Your Feedback...
Between March and April 2009 we introduced plans to develop the A630 (Conisbrough – Doncaster) Smart Route. We began by asking members of the public for their views on current travel problems along the A630. The detailed feedback and comments received have allowed Doncaster Council and South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive to develop a package of proposals to provide improvements at the key locations we highlighted during the first phase of consultation.
You told us that your highest priorities for the A630 are to:
- Improve road safety along the route.
You also took the opportunity to highlight specific locations along the A630 that needed particular attention when developing proposals. The most frequently mentioned locations were:
- The junction of the A630 with Edlington Lane and Mill Lane.
- The junction of the A630 with Hall Flat Lane.
- The junction of the A630 with Low Road (Conisbrough).
- The junction of the A630 with Sandford Road.
You also provided further comments that did not relate to specific locations along the route. The most frequently raised issues were:
- Would like to see a link road opened to Woodfield Plantation.
- Improve the route for cyclists.
- Improve signal timings along the A630.
