Previous Improvements...

A number of Smart Route works have already been completed:

Warmsworth Road:

Due to the level of traffic near to the A1(M) roundabout, we have installed two new signal controlled pedestrian crossings on Warmsworth Road, adjacent to Grosvenor Crescent and outside the Winning Post Public House.

These new crossings provide safe crossing points for all local residents and improve access to local amenities, such as the church and petrol station.

Resurfacing works

To improve safety for all vehicles using the route, the A630 is being resurfaced between the A1(M) roundabout and Cleveland Street roundabout, near to the town centre.
